Fynnlan Seeley- 24 Weeks
24 weeks old
Fynnlan is 24 weeks old today! Has the hair finally tamed itself?! Haha! Oh how we love this boy! I cannot even believe that he will be 6 months soon. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was pregnant and waiting to meet him! Heck, it seems like just yesterday that Aly was 6 months old! Time flies.
This week is one of those weeks where I just really feel Fynn getting bigger. He is playing more, sitting up, and joining more of our family times! For instance, this week when we went to our library's story time, I looked down and realized Fynn was actually paying attention to the story! I've been so used to him just being along for the ride with whatever we're doing with Aly, but how fun that he's starting to participate now too!
Where is my baby going?! Time to have another one! JUST KIDDING. Gotta enjoy this baby (and sleep) a bit longer! ;)
Eating
Oh how this boy wishes he could eat solids haha. He is always trying to grab food out of our hands these days! We did set up his high chair and will start solids in a couple weeks. As far as breastfeeding goes, he's still eating like a champ! I'm so hopeful that we'll be able to make it to my goal of a year exclusively breast fed! So far, we're off to a great start (and you should see my freezer full of milk too!).
Sleep
Sleep is glorious these days. We don't hear a peep out of him at nights, and he takes 3 long naps in the day, usually at least one of those being 2+ hours. Ahhhmazing.
Also, I love watching this little boy sleep. He is so so precious. Every time I lay him down, he does the exact same thing. He sucks his thumb and holds his face with his right hand and grabs the back of his head with his left hand. Once he settles, he then flips to his tummy and falls asleep. Nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!
Waketime
Like I said earlier, Fynn is starting to sit up now. He's still wobbly of course, but I'd say he's doing pretty good! We also borrowed a jumparoo which he loves! Some of his favorite toys right now are a taxi, airplane, and a boat. I think we're going to need more boy toys soon!
