The Alygator is 8 weeks today! I can hardly believe how quickly time flies. This week has been an extremely busy one for me between going back to work, church budget planning meetings, etc. But it’s all been really good. I forgot how much I enjoy working. I love my job and enjoy being there. It’s the perfect balance of getting out of the house and stimulating my brain, but it’s also great that I still get to come home at lunch and get home early to spend some quality time with my baby girl! God has truly blessed us!

Ron has been home with Aly for a whole week now. It's been a great time for the two of them to bond. I must say, Ron is an excellent daddy. He takes such good care of his princess, and has fun in the process. I see the way that, even at 8 weeks, Aly looks at him- she truly loves him! And so do I. I'm incredibly thankful to have him in my life and to partner alongside me in this great adventure of parenthood!

Feeding 

Aly has consistently only gotten up to eat twice at night! Yay!! It really is so nice. During the day she still eats every 2-2.5 hrs

Sleeping
This week she stopped going down so easy at night. We usually put her down around 7:45-8. She doesn’t end up falling asleep until around 9:00-9:30, and then from there is fine for the rest of the night. We’re going to try to make bedtime a little later and maybe that will help.

Temperament
Aly has started making sweet noises this week! She has the biggest grin and will now coo to go with it. It’s heart melting! Aly’s current favorite song is “Tiki Room” She gets the biggest grin and makes noises whenever I sing and dance with her. (granted I can’t remember any of the words beyond “in the tiki tiki tiki room” haha)

Physical 
Her hair is growing so much. She has a mean cowlick in the back that causes like ½ her hair to stick straight up haha. I absolutely love it.

Milestones
Alynne has found her hands! She loves to suck on them all the time now =]

Schedule 
Nothing has changed really. She does really well with her schedule!
