As the 2nd Trimester Comes to a Close...

This is going to be mostly a photo update post on what's been going on with us in the last couple weeks!  

I have been busy crafting away these days.  Since Ron works so late on Wednesdays, I've gotten in the habit of spending that time crafting and watching So You Think You Can Dance.  I also wanted to get as much done as possible while I'm still feeling pretty good. Here are some of my projects:

This isn't one of my crafts- but we got her crib put together! 

So clearly I have kept myself busy haha! I will post more pics later when her nook is finished! In the mean time, Ron might kill me from all the glitter that is all over our apartment.  I have one sparkly husband these days hehe.

Some life updates:  
I took my glucose test, and it came back normal! hooray! 
I managed to pull our bike that hangs from the ceiling onto me a couple weeks ago. We ended up in the urgent care, but fortunately all was fine with Aly, and I had what was perhaps a cracked bone in my arm.  Ron says he's going wrap me in bubble wrap til the baby gets here!
We had a prenatal consultation with a pediatrician this week.  We loved her and are excited to cross that off our to-do list.
On a more fun note- we travelled to Virginia for Tio Kevin and Tia Beverly's wedding! 
We also got to see our dear friends welcome their baby girl into this world- we think Amelia and Alynne will be great friends =]
And finally, today Ron had surgery on his ACL.  He tore it years ago playing sports, and we wanted to get it fixed before Aly arrives.  Though he's in some pain now, it's going to be well worth it when he's able to chase Miss Aly around and teach her to play soccer =]
