Jackson Graham- Week 12
Jackson is 12 weeks old today! This was a busy and very tiring week with Jackson haha. We had some of my family visit for the weekend, which is always so fun! Jackson got to partake in the first of all our Christmas festivities ;)
Today, I took Jackson for a weight check at the pediatrician’s, and he is now 10 lbs 2 oz! Woohoo! He made some serious progress since last month, and I think we are finally in the clear with him now! Such a relief.
Sleep
Man, oh man. Sleep has gone so far down hill this week. Jackson barely makes it 30-45 minutes at nap time before wanting to be held or put in his stroller. And at bedtime, forget it. He fusses nonstop in his crib no matter our efforts to sooth him. He only calms down once he snuggled up in our arms. So we are positively exhausted with this little man! BUT with that said, one night as I was holding him and calming him down in our room, while everyone else got to hang out in the living room, I was reminded that I said I would give a thousand sleepless nights to have Roman here. And I meant that. I am so grateful for a little boy who needs me to hold him. I’m grateful for his cries, even when he’s inconsolable. I’m grateful to miss out on things because I have a baby to tend to. I thank the Lord each day for all of my children.
Eating
Jackson eats about every 3 hours during the day, and at night, he is now down to one feeding!
Waketime
Jackson is starting to interact with us more. He absolutely loves when we sing to him, and that is the easiest way to make him smile or calm down.
Jackson is such a joy to have in our family! It’s hard to believe he’s almost 3 months old!
