Allow me to introduce Alynne Tiffany Arévalo

All I have to say is my wife is a champion! It all started at 2am Monday, Brooke started having contractions that kept her and me up all night. They continued all day Monday and we were sure that she was going to come that night.  No such luck, we stayed home and the contractions continued all day Tuesday until Brooke could no longer take it and we went to the hospital, which was a mad house and after an hour of waiting they took her in.  I had to wait and wait and wait.  Finally they took me back and Brooke told me she was dilated to 5 cm and that we were staying the night! I was super excited but what ensued for the rest of the night is surely an experience that I will never forget in my entire life.  Seeing your wife in excruciating pain is not a pleasant site.  Brooke however was amazing, she held it together as long as she could before asking for an epidural.

The epidural helped tremendously but labor is a LONG process and Brooke had already been having continuous contractions for almost 48 hours at this point.  The rest of the night and early morning is a blur, I was running on zero sleep and it felt like this baby was never going to come.  And then 8:40am and it as time to push and Brooke did just that and less than an hour later Alynne Tiffany Arévalo came into this world.

I lost it, the first time I saw my baby girl was one of the happiest moment of my life.  Right up there with getting married.  She is the most beautiful little girl I have ever laid eyes on. Full head of hair, deep blue eyes, and the biggest cheeks I've ever seen.

Now without further ado, meet our little baby girl who was born on November 20th at 9:34am and weighed 7lbs 6oz:
